Measurement that uses no cookie at all
Page views and one affiliate-click event are counted by Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device and keeps no identifier that could single you out, so it runs whatever you answer in the banner. We see aggregate counts by page and country and nothing more. This is deliberate — it is the only measurement we can run that does not ask anything of you.
How consent works here
Google Consent Mode v2 loads with analytics storage and advertising storage set to denied. That default is applied before any Google tag runs, so declining or simply ignoring the banner leaves the analytics cookies unset. Pressing Accept switches analytics storage to granted for this site only. Accept and Decline are given equal prominence in the banner, as EU guidance requires.
Changing your mind
To withdraw consent, delete this site’s cookies in your browser — the banner will reappear on your next visit and you can answer differently. You can also block or delete cookies for this site permanently in your browser settings; every major browser documents this under Privacy. Blocking cookies does not degrade anything on this site: there is no login and no cart, so nothing here depends on them.
Affiliate redirects
Our own /go/ redirect sets no cookie. The affiliate program you land on will normally set its own tracking cookie in your browser under its domain, which is how it records that we introduced you — that cookie is theirs, governed by their policy, and the affiliate disclosure explains what it does for us. On our side we log only the program, the section, a country code and a timestamp, as described in the privacy policy.
